This exclusive historic collection honors Maria Theresia - archduchess of Austria and Queen of Hungary, Croatia and Bohemia. It contains a Kreuzer from Austria and a Poltura from Hungary with the portrait of the ruler. Amalia Christina from Austria was born on 13th May 1717 as the eldest daughter of Emperor Charles VI. She married Francis I, Duke of Lorraine, on 12th February 1736. After the death of her father in 1740, initially Charles VII from the House of Wittelsbach became emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, before Maria succeeded in having her husband crowned as German emperor in 1745. Since the death of her father, she herself was archduchess of Austria, Queen of Hungary, of Croatia and finally also Bohemia. Maria Theresia had individual coins minted for the various countries. Both coins - Kreuzer and Poltura - are individually encapsulated and are delivered in a high-quality wooden box with German certificate.
