Used in international trade for its Silver content since its first mint in 1741, it takes its name from its representation of the Archduchess and gave its name to the American Dollar!

Long minted in many countries (in Brussels, London, Paris, Rome, Milan, Prague, Vienna…), it is now prohibited from reproduction by a country other than Austria, since 1946, and bears the vintage 1780.
