Official commemorative 2 Euro coin, with a weight of 8.5 grams and a diameter of 25.75mm, issued by the National Mint of Finland in 2014. The coin is dedicated to the 100 Years since the Birth of Ilmari Tapiovaara.

 The special euro coin designed by Koskinen makes impressive use of the three-dimensional nature of metal coins. The commemorative special coin depicts a joint between wooden bars – a characteristic feature of Tapiovaara's designs. Yrjö Ilmari Tapiovaara was a Finnish designer noted for his furnishings and textiles.
