About the coin: this €2 commemorative coin on BU card celebrates the centenary of Lithuanian basketball. The match on 23 April 1922 between the Lithuanian Physical Education Union (LFLS) and the national team of the provisional capital (Kaunas), which was won by the LFLS with a score of 8:6, is considered to be the first basketball match in the history of the country and the beginning of Lithuanian basketball.
