Each of the 2018 1 oz Tuvalu Black Panther Marvel Series Silver coins listed here are in BU condition. Coins in BU condition exhibit no indications of wear and tear, however, minor flaws from the coining process are a possibility. These flaws are limited in nature to breaks in the luster, spotted surfaces, or contact marks.

The Marvel Series from Perth Mint debuted in 2017 with the Spiderman coin, and continued with the issue of a Thor coin second. The 2018 Tuvalu Black Panther coin is the third release in the planned series of six coins, and each one to date has been released to align with a new movie debuting in the theaters for the featured character. Fans of Marvel Comics can see Black Panther in theaters come February 2018!

Perth’s 2018 Tuvalu Black Panther Coins are available as individual coins housed in plastic capsules. Multiples of 20 arrive in coin rolls, with boxes of 100 coins or 300 coins available. 

On the reverse of the 2018 1 oz Tuvalu Black Panther Marvel Series Silver Coin is the image of the Black Panther. Engravings include “Marvel: Black Panther,” with his image captured on that face as well. The fictional superhero first appeared in Marvel Comics in July 1966, and was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Black Panther appeared in Fantastic Four #52.

The obverse of the 2018 1 oz Marvel Series Silver Coins all feature the right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty’s fourth-generation effigy captured here was created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley.

Perth Mint is the oldest operating mint in Australia, having opened as the third and final Royal Mint location in 1899. Today, Perth Mint is owned and operated by the state of Western Australia and exists independent of the Royal Australian Mint.
